Most guys want the car that everyone wants. The slick, shiny, luxury brand with the big…pricetag. We want the car that everyone wants to get in and take a ride. Some like big cars. Some like smaller cars. For some, it doesn’t even matter what size.
Some guys try to steal cars that don’t belong to them. They want another man’s vehicle and will go to any lengths to get it. In many cases, some of us will spend all of our hard earned money on a car that we know we can’t afford in the long run. The maintenance of a fancy luxury model can be very expensive to keep up the quality performance of the vehicle.
The impatient man will need to have a car NOW. He’ll even pay a few dollars just to use a car. He will use an app on his phone to get a ride in a car that has had many people in it already. He’ll even settle for buying a used, slightly dated car, until he can afford the new fancy one (or one like it) that he’s had his eye on. However, while driving his used car, he’ll constantly be on the lookout for a better option to drive.
We like our cars to smell good on the inside and look good on the outside. Even if the car is used, if we like it and appreciate it, we’ll make sure it gets washed and gassed up on a regular basis. If the car is not what we see ourselves driving permanently, we’ll sometimes just drive it until it gives up and stops working.
When we are finally ready and able to get the car we want, there are habits that we must begin to practice. A new luxury vehicle will run better than any used one we drove previously. However, if the luxury vehicle is not treated and maintained with care, it too will begin to have problems and it will not ride as smoothly as it did when first acquired.
Sometimes, in the end, the best option for a guy is to find a Certified Pre-owned car that offers all the options of a newer more expensive car. It’ll have less mileage than a used vehicle but we may have to sacrifice some aesthetic appeal. However, practicality wins most times and we’ll usually end up with a solid vehicle that looks good enough to own the night, but sensible enough to drop the kids off in….
